Which photos work best?
Close-ups, where faces fill a good part of the photo, in good light. Group photos work too. Faces that are small and far away, and very dark or blurry photos, give weaker pages. If a face comes out wrong, you can redraw it for free.
Will it really look like us?
The page keeps the poses, faces, hair and clothing from your photo, drawn as outlines. After you buy, every page can be redrawn twice for free.
What do I need to print it?
Any home printer and plain letter paper. You can also take the file to a print shop. The book is a PDF file, with a color cover and one drawing per page.
How does the printed book work?
You get the download right away. Then you look through your pages, redraw any that are off, and press Send My Book to Print. Nothing is printed until you do. The book is printed and mailed to an address in the United States, and most arrive in about 11 to 14 days. We email you a tracking link when it ships. It feels fullest with 10 or more photos.
Does it make a good gift?
It is one of the most personal gifts you can give: grandparents, birthdays, a new big brother or sister, or the family dog's biggest fan. You can write your own title and a short dedication on the cover.
What happens to writing in my photos?
Words and numbers, like a name on a shirt or a birthday banner, are left out of the page, so nothing comes out misspelled. If any writing slips through, redraw that page for free.
What happens to my photos?
They are used only to make your book. If you do not buy, your photos are deleted after 24 hours. If you buy, we delete them after 30 days, and you can delete them yourself at any time from your book page. We never use them for ads.
What if I am not happy with my book?
Redraw any page for free. If that does not fix it, press Need Help and write to us. We will make it right.
