Our Privacy Promise
Your photos are of the people you love. Here is exactly what we do with them, in plain words.
What We Collect
- The photos you upload, and the coloring pages drawn from them.
- Your email address, so we can send you the link to your book.
- The title you choose for the cover.
- If you order a printed book: the name, mailing address and phone number it should be delivered to.
- Basic technical records, such as your internet address, to prevent abuse of the free preview.
- Simple visit counts, like which pages are opened and whether a visit came from one of our ads. These are counted with a scrambled code that changes every day, not with your name or address.
We remove the hidden details phones attach to photos, such as where and when a photo was taken, as soon as you upload.
What We Use Your Photos For
Only to draw your coloring book and to make sure it comes out right. We do not use your photos or your pages in advertising, we do not sell them, and we do not use them to train anything.
Who Else Sees Them
To draw a page, your photo is sent to the AI drawing service we use, fal.ai, which runs image models made by Google. The page is checked by an automated tool. Payment is handled by Whop, so we never see your card number. Email is delivered by Resend.
If you order a printed book, it is printed and mailed by Lulu, a book printing company. Lulu receives the finished pages of your book and the delivery name, address and phone number, and passes the address to the carrier. Lulu does not receive your photos.
We run ads on Facebook and Instagram, and we use Meta’s tools to see whether those ads are working. Here is what that means for you. When you visit our public pages, Meta knows a page was viewed. When you start a free preview, check out or buy a book, we let Meta know it happened and how much it was for, along with a scrambled version of your email and basic browser details, so the sale can be matched to the right ad. That is where it stops. Meta never gets your photos, your coloring pages, or the link to your book, and none of its tools run on your book page.
We use Microsoft Clarity to see how visitors move through the site, such as where they tap and how far they scroll, so we can make it easier to use. Your photos, your coloring pages, your book title and anything you type are hidden from it.
A person at Crayon Memories may look at your photos and coloring pages to check their quality, to fix pages that did not come out right, and to help you when you write to us. Only our own team looks at them, and we never share them.
How Long We Keep Them
- Free previews you do not buy are deleted after 24 hours, together with the photos.
- Books you buy are deleted 30 days after purchase. Download yours before then.
- A mailing address is deleted together with the book. If a printed book is still on its way after 30 days, we keep the order until it arrives, and no longer than 60 days.
- You can delete your photos yourself at any time from your book page.
Photos of Children
This service is for adults. Please upload only photos you have the right to use. If you are a parent or guardian and want a photo removed, write to us and we will delete it.
Your Choices
Write to [email protected] to have your book and photos deleted, or to ask what we hold about you. We answer every request.
